Profile:

Chef Susie Norris specializes in chocolate, European cakes and confections.  She teaches English Literature and Baking at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Los Angeles.  She has a certificate in Professional Baking from The Epicurean School of Culinary Arts and a B.A. in English Literature from Boston College.  Prior to her work as a pastry chef, Susie spent 15 years as a television executive in Los Angeles.  Her first book CHOCOLATE BLISS, was published by Celestial Arts/Random House in October 2009.  Her next book is about vanilla.

Charity Programs:

Sweets for the Street  - Ms. Shell's Bakery provides cakes, desserts and support to homeless and mentally impaired women through The Downtown Women's Center of Los Angeles.

Save Africa's Children - Ms. Shell's Bakery provides financial support to the children of impoverished African countries which supply 70% of the world's chocolate.  This program is affiliated with the West Angeles Church of Los Angeles.
